Paris Hilton’s Most Stable Relationship is with Her Publicist

May 8th, 2007 // Leave a Comment

And that’s not saying much, since it sounded like the two had broken up, but are now saying, “Um, hello! We’re still together!” As of Sunday evening, Paris’ long-time publicist, Elliot Mintz, had announced the end of his business relationship with his sometimes-sober client, only to be seen on Monday, accompanying her to a red-carpet event promoting sobriety. According to Us:

The flack had resigned Sunday but at Monday night’s event he told Us, “The rumors of our professional separation were overexaggerated,” and he was back on as Hilton’s publicist. “I continue to be her media rep,” Mintz continued. “She remains a client…and more importantly a dear friend.”

After the event, “Sober Day” so named in the memory of Robert Shapiro’s late son, Brent, Paris somehow avoided getting a giant zap of irony lightning sent down by the gods and could be found later in the evening at the Roxy, doing what she does best–dancing on top of a table. She better not end up in some “Sweet Escape” jail with all kinds of dancing and Gwen Stefani to entertain her, cause then I’ll just be pissed.
