Paris Hilton recently gained permission from Rod Stewart to cover his 1978 classic hit. The Daily Record newspaper spoke with Paris and she told them, “My producer and I were hanging out with Rod one night and it came on and we all thought it would be the perfect song for me to do.”
I imagine Paris originally considered other famous 70′s hits to cover before selecting Rod Stewart’s signature single (perhaps “You’re So Vain” or “Three Times A Lady”), but rejected both because they were either too accurate, or too ironic.

Maybe she could also cover the Gap Band’s song,”PARTY TRAIN” and give it that “personal touch”!
