And I’m not being facetious. Everyone I know is a big fan of the Swayze. From Red Dawn to Donnie Darko, Patrick Swazye is boss. It was a shock this year when we found out he had pancreatic cancer.

I called an immediate prayer circle, and we all held hands and chanted over a battered VHS copy of Dirty Dancing. And it seems to have worked.

The Swayze was seen at LAX this past weekend, looking pretty good! The press asked him how he was doing.

“I’m a miracle, dude,” he said. “I don’t know why.”

Swayze is undergoing treatment and even working. He’s starring in a new series for A&E called The Beast. Don’t count his ass out just yet, nay-sayers!
