The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley appeared on Live With Regis And Kelly today (September 12th) to drum up publicity for Thursday’s season premiere (like that show needs the help).  This season we’ll see a much darker side of Wesley’s character, Stefan, with no relief in sight for Elena and Damon.

What’s the weirdest part about playing a vampire?  Wesley said, “We have these conventions, and sometimes people come and bring their children. They don’t want to admit they watch the show, so they say ‘My daughter’s such a huge fan.’ And she’s six years old and crying hysterically. … Clearly the daughter is there per the mother’s force.”
