There’s nothing more fitting for a woman who’s currently battling chronic neck and back pain to release a single entitled, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” At the tender age of forty-five, Paula Abdul has made public her first single in over ten years. Produced by fellow “American Idol” judge, Randy Jackson, the song will be featured on his upcoming album, Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1.
The duo went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to promote the release of the upbeat, 80s-inspired dance track that although is bouncy and fun, does sound like some serious digital cleaning up over her voice took place. It definitely sounds like vintage Paula, but with Paula barely able to talk without slurring these days, I’m really doubtful she was able to sing this whole song in one session without being interrupted by strange giggling fits and needing a nap.
Listen to “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow” here.

I actually like it – I was expecting the worst. Much better than Janet’s offerings lately …
i would dance to this, like there’s not tomorrow
Dance like your back will give out tomorrow?
Naw, dawg — it was good. Good for Randy and Paula for putting out some decent tunes and showing the kids how it’s done!
After all the slams I expected it to be much worse – I actaully didn;t hate it…now excuse me while I get back to dancing like there’s no tomorrow…straight up!
After all the slams I expected it to be much worse – I actually didn’t hate it…now excuse me while I get back to dancing…straight up now tell me (la la la)!
It’s no better/different than Britney’s latest. Good God some music can suck ass. Again I am validated in my listening to only Springsteen.
Go Paula! I hope this becomes a hit for her.
It’s kind of sweet that Paula is making an album. It’s like when the old folks get out on the dance floor at a wedding.
LOL, blah!!
that’s pretty slamming! it’s nice to hear paula again with a very hot updated sound. kudos to randy. sounds like great production.
I was watching AI tonight and they played the video and we were really pleasantly surprised. I grew up w/ Paula and it was almost like she never skipped a beat! Way to go Paula
