Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen‘s character Bruno managed to convince Paula Abdul that his over-the-top, flamboyantly gay persona was for real.
An inside source tells Page Six, “Paula was totally fooled. She bought into his character and to this day isn’t aware she was fooled.”
Seriously, though, I wouldn’t brag too much about pulling one over on ol’ Paula. Lord knows I love her, but let’s be real here. It’s as easy as counting to three. Unless you’re Paula, in which case it’s all but impossible without cue cards.
