Uh oh. This is what happens when people without degrees play amateur neurologist. Clearly, Paula Abdul‘s been mixing and matching her “Little Helpers” again. The air was ripe for a prime time, network television breakdown!

Paula was feeling a little cold and left out on last night’s American Idol. Her brain chemistry didn’t know which way or where to go, so she stormed out of the studio when she thought Simon Cowell and new judge Kara DioGuardi didn’t ask for her opinion of 19-year-old contestant Julissa Veloz‘s performance.

“OK, I guess my opinion doesn’t matter,” Abdul said. “It’s so funny because there’s
four judges… sometimes we forget there’s a fourth opinion in this
room!”

Julissa chased after her (on second thought — was this planned?) and Abdul exclaimed: “I can’t do this, Julissa!”

Can’t do what? Sit in poorly chosen outfits and clap for $7 million a year? Simon can ignore, insult and cut me off all he wants for that sum!

Not surprisingly, Julissa got the green light and a serenade of “YES!” after bring back Paula.

Wethinks this is a cue for American Idol to make it’s final swan song…
