Paula Abdul has a new reality show on Bravo and yes, she’s all high and acting out and saying things like “I’m tired of people not treating me like the gift that I am.” Which is my next t-shirt.
In the first episode, set to air June 28, the “American Idol” judge appears addled after the 2007 Grammy Awards. She stumbles on the street and giggles in the back of her limo (“I crack myself up!”) before her mood darkens and she berates two assistants for not bringing her sweat pants to change into for a flight.
The encounter reveals a needy celebrity who, in the lap of pampering, constantly believes herself to be mistreated by those around her. “The way I’ve been treated is [like] a piece of dog s–,” she complains in another typical outburst.
She also clashes with QVC executives and flummoxes her long-suffering PR rep, Jeff Ballard, one of three she has fired or been fired by this year.
I might have to make room on the DVR for this. Is it just me or when Paula’s high, does she remind you of Blair’s cousin on “The Facts of Life”? At least Blair’s cousin had an excuse!

This women works her tail off and has some serious back problems! Not one of you live in her shoes or her house, you have no idea what she goes through! Everyone of us has problems and a past, why must she be the target? I will tell you this, I have been watching American Idol from day one and if they decide to get rid of her, I will never watch it again, she has a tremondous heart and the show would never be the same without her! My hope for Paula is that by doing this reality show she will show everyone how sweet she really is, and the pain in her life will show; then maybe people will back off. I wish her all the happiness!

Don’t feel too sorry for her. I know her very well, and she uses her perpetual crying as a tool to get her own way. I’ve seen her act it out many times, but I would never have dreamed she would expose herself on nation wide television this way (ref. Hey Paula). Don’t believe me? Ask Emilio. She has absolutely no regard for others. The way she treats her assistants is the way she treats everyone!
