Penelope Cruz told Tim Gunn on the red carpet that she first saw the 60-year-old vintage Balmain white couture gown eight years ago and searched for it when she found out that she would be attending the Academy Awards this year.
She clearly made the right decision when she picked out the frock, ruched and embellished with stones because the Spanish actress won Best Supporting Actress for her turn in the Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona and looked like a princess when she took to the stage to accept her award.

I really want to see Penelope do something with her hot sister Monica (besides making out with each other in their brother’s music video- although that was great and scary at the same time). When Iron Cross comes out, I’ll be all over it to see Monica’s performance.. Will she be competition for her sister in the US now?
