Woody Allen’s film Vicky Cristina Barcelona had a press conference yesterday at Cannes, and apparently it was a madhouse because of all the positive buzz from the movie critics.
Penelope Cruz and Woody Allen along with Vicky herself, Rebecca Hall. Woody said he regretted that Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem, were missing the event, citing “family troubles” for Bardem, Penelope’s current beau.
Of course, one of the questions posed to Penelope involved her already famous kiss shared with costar Scarlett. Penelop sighed saying that she had been asked 4 times already, and that she didn’t have a good answer to it and declined to do so.
Then she said that she asked herself, “What would Woody Allen say?”
Penelope didn’t know the answer to that, and so again declined to answer the question.
Too bad. I have a feeling that Woody would have wanted to know how she felt about his sexiest scene to date as much as the reporters.

Okay, the only reason anyone knows who this chick is would be because she hung off of Tom Cruise (Mr. Xenu) for a few years. When she wasn’t “thetan” enough, he dumped her for someone with a mind that could more easily accept brainwashing!! Has anyone ever seen Penelope in one of the few movies she’s done? Really bad, as in you have to turn the channel real quick!!!

Why Tom ever left his previous for Penelope just blows my mind. Ditto on the brainwashing though…
