Reality star turned author, Lauren Conrad chugs her brand along at a book signing in Miami on Wednesday and the paps report her looking tired, chugging red bulls and covering up some adult acne.  Eh, she might have a pimple or two but she pretty mostly looks like her pretty pulled together self to me. If anything I wish she would stop raiding the American Girl closet.

Alas, this is what a two time New York Times bestselling author looks like. Some writers toil for years for the achievement that Lauren hit with her first novel LA Candy and now her sequel Sweet Little Lies takes a top spot on the bestseller list. 

“It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around,” Conrad tells People magazine.  

Stephanie Pratt tweeted congratulations, but nothing from Heidi Montag show is busy planning an empty accomplishment to get the spotlight back.
