I’m a activist for PETA but I never participate in the extreme measures they take. I just hate it when they target ppl like that. PETA seems to forget that in america we have freedom meaning anyone can act however they please … they dont need to threaten Eva. Thats not necessary.

Yo, the last 3 posts were brilliant. I hate PETA as well…not because they are against torturing animals ( that’s just cruel) but how they go about their protests and as was said abefore, shove their beliefs down people’s throats. I love my red meat, and I happen to like furs…but if it means that an animal won’t endure pain, I’ll totally wear faux! Maybe Ingrid Newkook should hop in a PETA death van driven by Adria Hinkle and Andrew Cook the next time they get a “field assignment.” Maybe Ingrid will get “accidentally” euthanized and then tossed in a dumpster, by PETA’s “angels of death” who slaughtered dozens of adoptable kittens and puppies, hidden from public view of course.

Hopefully, Ingrid will invite that old, diseased, siliconed bimbette, Pamela Anderson for a ride-a-long too.

About PETA, I think they need to focus less on the fucking fur and more on the fact that people are capturing dogs with heartworms (a treatable disease), shooting them in the heads, cutting out their hearts and selling the heart and worm to labs for research.

I don’t have a problem with hunting as long as it’s a “fair” hunt and the meat is used for food. Sounds like Eva grew up poor and their food was supplemented with meat they hunted. If so, that is honorable hunting to me.

It’s the hunters who use night vision goggles and all that crap who annoy the hell out of me. Then they go and mount the head in their living room where all their guests have to look at the disgusting things. I’ve even seen WHOLE baby deer stuffed and mounted on a piece of log! Disgusting!

As for PETA, I agree with prior posts… their public displays of disgust with public figures are nothing but PR. I don’t see them standing on the streets throwing things at everyone with leather shoes or jackets. Try that crap with a biker or gang member……..the result will REALLY stir up some of that PR they like, although I doubt it would be the kind of PR they want!

PETA is nothing more than a bunch of animal-rights terrorists. Anytime you threaten violence to change a person or peoples behaviour through the means of coercion and intimidation? Terrorism.

The “Disney” mentality of PeTA and their ‘drones’ make me sick. How can PeTA condemn anyone for killing animals? Others kill for food and/or fashion….PeTA kills for convenience. At least others use what they kill…PeTA dumps their dead animals behind the local Piggly Wiggly.

To PeTa I say….killing healthy animals is not the appropriate venue of an animal rights organization. It’s a conflict of interests, a perversion of your corporate mission, and a travesty of your pledge to protect animals to be instead engaged in their wholesale slaughter.

To PeTA ‘drones’ a little advice….wake up, the world is NOT a “Disney” cartoon. If you really believe animals have rights then why do you support PeTA? To kill a healthy animal for no other reason than ‘they are homeless’ is deplorable.

The 4th Annual International Eat an Animal for PETA day is coming up on Wednesday, March 15th.

March 15, 2002 was a special day was set aside by Jewish blogger, Meryl Yourish (http://www.yourish.com/2006/02/20/750), as her vocal response to the increasing anti-semetic/racist ideologies of animal-rights extremists, in particular, PETA’s “Holocaust on your Plate” lunacy, which compared farming chickens to the Holocaust.

This celebratory day has taken off by leaps and bounds since then, becoming an International Day of resistance against animal-rights extremists, taking the simple form of asserting our place at the pinnacle of nature’s food chain, and shouting our proclamations from dinner tables throughout the world.

Your challenge on this day of celebration is to eat as many species of animals as you can during March 15th, in order to send a collective message to all animal-rights extremists that we reject their hate, their intolerances, their racism, their criminal assaults, their firebombings, their intimidation, their harassment, etc.

March 15th, will be a day of celebration to show resistance against these extremists by filling breakfast, lunch and dinner plates with the very meat items which fuel their arrogant, ignorant, hate-filled rages.

Hey Dr. Tia, if youre an activist for PETA yet you say peta should mind their own business? That doesnt make sense. You should disassociate yourself from PETA because you really dont have a clue on what they stand for. Targeting people/ignoramuses like Eva Longoria is showing an example on how cruel animal abuse can be. PETA should drop your membership.

The idiots that support PETA blindly need to realize that they are not a good organization to support. They believe in the “TOTAL LIBERATION OF ANIMALS” So basically if you own a pet and support PETA they don’t support you because the animal you own isn’t free. Also its ridiculous to want all animals to freely roam around like humans. Think of the diseases and utter chaos that would ensue if all animals were “Totally Liberated”. Their bullying tactics are ridiculous, and they kill animals too.

Also, do PETA members get flu shots, use insulin or use any medication that may be derived from an animal? I’m sure there are diabetic PETA members who take medicine and are total hypocrites.

PETA has repeatedly attacked research foundations like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, because they support animal-based research that might uncover cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.”

I don’t support EVERYTHING PETA does, but the fur industry is horrible.

And for those of you who are like, “There are soooo many more important things”, there will ALWAYS be more than one problem in the world, in case you haven’t noticed. There is enough care and love to go around to make things better. So for those of you saying starving children, cancer, and other horrible things exist, are you doing anything to make the problems better or are you just putting those of us down who are doing something about this?

I advocate for animals AND humans, I don’t have to choose between the two. Nobody ever said one has to. Where did you get that impression? It’s called MYOPIA.
