Christian Bale continues to go above and beyond the call of duty for his portrayal of Dicky Eklund in The FIghter. The actor continues to look very frail and quite run down as he shot scenes with Mark Wahlberg in Boston, MA on July 28, 2009. The method actor has always been known to really dive into his roles headfirst, and take on all of the physical challenges called for, but these pictures makes one wonder if the actor is taking it too far to play the crack addled Dicky.
