A modern day take on the Shakespeare tale of two teens who fall madly in love, the film starred a young Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Clare Danes. The film retains the original Shakespeare dialogue, but takes place in a modern metropolis where the Montagues and Capulets are competing business empires.  This film made reading Romeo and Juliet in Freshman English far more enjoyable and understandable.
