1990-2001 It is hard to remember sometimes that before Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise appeared to be happily married to the beautiful Nicole Kidman. The couple married in the early 90s and adopted two children together . Overall, they appeared to spend the decade of the 90's happily married. However, in 2001 Cruise  shocked many when he filed for divorce just a couple months shy of their 10th wedding anniversary. Kidman has since found love with country singer Keith Urban and they have two daughters together. Meanwhile, Cruise recently found himself in Kidman's shoes when Katie Holmes abruptly filed for divorce from him earlier this year.
