Once an innocent Disney princess, Demi Lovato is now far from that. After starring on her own show Sonny With a Chance and co-starring opposite of eventual boyfriend Joe Jonas in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2, things started to fall apart. While she was on tour with then ex-boyfriend and band Jonas Brothers in 2010 Demi punched a back-up dancer and entered herself into treatment for physical and emotional issues. She later admitted to suffering from bulimia, cutting, and bipolar disorder. Both before and after her rehabilitation, the star has released hit (and emotional) songs that really resonate with her fans. She recently hosted the 2012 Teen Choice Awards and is a judge on X Factor.
