Are you one of the few people who missed the highly hyped sneak peek of this new vet-centered sitcom during the Summer Olympics? If so, you definitely should give this series a look. Justin Kirk (Weeds) stars as Dr. George Coleman, a hot shot New York veterinarian, whose practice is turned upside down with the arrival of new boss Dorothy (Joanna Garcia Swisher, Better with You). Not only are she and George former romantic partners, her ambition and go-getter attitude – paired with her lack of experience with animals - clash with George’s unorthodox methods and unconventional “bedside manner”.  In addition to a menagerie of adorable animal “patients”, the show also stars Mad TV’s Bobby Lee,  and Tyler Labine (once again working with monkeys – did he learn nothing from Rise of the Planet of the Apes?) and capuchin monkey, Crystal (best known for her role as “Annie’s Boobs” on Community). Think of this show as Scrubs meets Community – just with fuzzier guest stars!
