Before she was a public figure of family drama and sex tape shenanigans, Kim K got hitched for the first time at the age of 20 to music producer Damon Thomas. Back in 2000, Kim and Damon eloped in a quicky marriage which began to unravel just as soon as it started. According to court documents from their divorce, Damon was physically and mentally abusive, allegedly punching her in the face and throwing her across the room leaving Kim bruised and battered often. He also apparently gave Kim $4000 to get liposuction in an attempt to make her “perfect”. After the four years of messy violence, it was Thomas who ended up filing for divorce. Kind of gives the phrase “we found love in a hopeless place” an eerie meaning.
