7. Casey Anthony Verdict. OK, so I wouldn't go so far as to call Casey Anthony a celebrity, but boy did she have all eyes on her during her murder trial. Casey was accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter in 2008 and spent a long time in and out of jail while her trial went on. After quite a long time deliberating, the jury decided that Casey was innocent in July of 2011. Needless to say, Americans were stunned. Ready to be more stunned? Miley Cyrus actually had wise words to say after the verdict was announced. I know, Miley, wise. Who knew? Miley tweeted, "You know the world is skewed when people get away with murdering children but we cant get gay marriage legalized in the state of California." You go girl. And now we all wait for the slew of Lifetime movies that are obviously in the works. Or maybe it's already happened and I've missed it? Oh no!
