5. Jessica Chastain. If you didn't know who Jessica Chastain was before 2011, don't worry, you weren't alone. It almost feels like this fabulous red-haired actress popped out of nowhere to win us all over. And it's not like she's going for the rom-coms, oh no! She went for the hard hitting stuff like The Debt, Coriolanus, The Tree of Life and The Help. She's already won a bunch of critics awards for her body of work this year and is gearing up to play Princess Diana in an upcoming biopic. We can only assume that Ms. Chastain has loads more magic to throw our way and we are more than happy to receive it.
