Chainsaw-wieldeing singer Pink has admitted that she checked herself into rehab this past summer after she became nervous that her drinking was getting out of control following her split from husband Carey Hart.

Pink says she had completely stopped doing any kind of drugs, but found herself getting extremely drunk every now and then. The singer explained, “For me it’s about losing control. I’m such a control freak it’s very hard for me to lose my inhibitions without something chemical inside me.”

After spending time at the Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona with a therapist, Pink says they came to the conclusion that she was not an alcoholic, but “just someone who likes to get drunk every now and again.” As long as she’s not operating heavy machinery at the time, I think she’ll be good.
