‘Precious’ Premieres In Hollywood With A Splash

November 2nd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

It certainly looks like the premiere of Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire was the place to be last night, with Mary J. Blige singing to celebrate the event. Oprah Winfrey looked tickled pink as she mixed and mingled with director, Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry and Gabourey Sidibe.

I have to admit, Star Jones, actually looked damn good in her jewel-toned, deep blue dress. Another lady stepping out in a bold color was Garcelle Beauvais, whose frock matched the red carpet, as well as the gown worn by the film’s big star, Gabourey Sidibe.

Gabourey’s co-star, Mo’Nique looked fabulous in her sparkly gold, strapless gown. The actress is getting rave reviews for her performance in the film and will most likely be walking down the red carpet for the Oscars. She better keep her calendar free this awards season.
