24-year-old English royal Prince Harry took a quiet moment from his busy life as a soldier, as well as his hopping party schedule to pay his respects to the victims of the September 11 attack in New York City.
Harry appears to be walking in his late mother’s footsteps, as he stopped by ground zero to leave a flower wreath at a memorial. The prince also stopped to chat for a few minutes with family members of the victims.
In addition, the young man’s trip to NYC includes a trip to a garden in Manhattan, established as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the attack.
Chip Callori‘s brother Joseph Amatuccio died in the trade center on September 11 and he told the Huffington Post of the visit, “It’s a very kind gesture on his part.”
