Princess Beatrice‘s eccentric taste in millinery has been talked about since before William and Catherine’s royal wedding. Playah please, the fallopian-tube-toilet-seat-pretzel was just one of many silly-looking hats to come out of Bea’s princess-sized closet(s).
Milliner Philip Treacy, whose made several hats and fascinator for the Queen’s granddaughter, came to her defense after that day.
“She is only 22 and there was a little bit of bullying going on. I didn’t give a f*** about 140,000 bloggers,” Treacy told the Observer. ”In the future, we’ll look back and think she looked wild.”
The irish designer described his client as a “beautiful, exotic, Victorian doll.”
One thing’s for sure, the girl knows how to keep the masses entertained. Launch the gallery to check out some our favorite pieces.
