Where does one cash that big gay check? Well, another season of “Project Runway” has come and gone. Here are some snaps from the finale viewing party at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. This season was mostly all about the work, without the trash. No one really earned the title of “Most Hated” or “Biggest Bitch.” Sure, Ricky’s waterworks were a little much, and you had to have some patience to deal with winner Christian Siriano’s personality. But overall, it was all about craftsmanship this season and everyone seemed to gel.
Just look at these pics–these are not people who are ready to cut one another. Tim Gunn wasn’t lying in interviews at the beginning of the season when he said that this group of designers raised the bar on the workmanship. But why haven’t I seen Fashion Bear Chris around? We need you, Fashion Bear!

I was so happy! I ended up really loving Christian, and especially for starting to cry before the winner was announced. Whether it was because he thought he would lose or because of just the intense emotion of the moment, I don’t know. The one thing I wish I could change about this show is the way everyone insists they NEED to win in order to jump-start or save their businesses/careers… come on! Like being on Project Runway isn’t oodles of free advertising? What finalists DON’T do well afterward?

Like Heidi said — she’s always a little uptight, or is it just me? Rolling her eyes at the announcement when Jack left the program for medical reasons…I just can’t stand that smug little poop. She thought she was Victory-ous (sorry, couldn’t help it) when she scored a show at Bryant Park, but her designs were all butt-ugly.
Yay for Christian! He was my fave from the get-go… knew he could do it even when he didn’t. Stay fierce Fierocia, I’ll be looking for you and your designs next season. And way to go scoring Posh as your first client!!! Now THAT is fierce…
