Say it isn’t so. However some of the pill popping models may be taking something that that isn’t what it seems to be. The innocent models have gotten prescriptions for Serafem to battle PMS (a model with PMS is not pretty), but what they don’t seem to realize is that Serafem is just another name for Prozac. Cue the dramatic music.
Many mannequins have gotten prescriptions for Serafem, a pretty pink and lavender pill used to treat the symptoms of PMS, since they often have to work at inconvenient times of the month. What they don’t know is that Serafem is identical to Prozac in everything but its packaging. Both are made by the Eli Lilly company from fluoxetine hydrochloride, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). And while many are familiar with the side effects of Prozac, they don’t seem to know that Serafem packs the same punch. The main problem, one concerned model’s parent tells PAGE SIX, is the girls don’t know not to drink while taking it. Some evidence indicates taking Prozac can in fact induce alcohol cravings, and some Serafem-popping pretties are in fact turning into dangerous drunks. “It’s terrible, the girls don’t even know what they’re doing to themselves,” laments our source. “It has to stop.”
We must alert Kate Moss now!
