R. Kelly Has 19-Year-Old Friends

From the same mind that brought you The Closet, comes this little nugget of logic. “You was charged with something and you were found innocent, then you can’t be found guilty for being found innocent.” Someone is certainly channeling Johnny Cochran here.

For the first time since his acquittal related to child porn charges, R. Kelly sat down for an interview. Kelly chatted with BET News correspondent Toure, who asked the rapper, “Do you like teenage girls?”

Kelly’s classic initial response was, “When you say teenage, how old are we talking?” After stunning the interviewer with that question, R. Kelly clarified: “I have some 19-year-old friends. But I don’t like anybody illegal, if that’s what we’re talking about, underage.”

Nice rebuttal, guy. That’s right up there with “how do you define a ‘sexual’ relationship?”
