I heart Rachel McAdams. She just seems like a sweet, nice girl who never makes the news for partying like it’s 1999, plus she was Regina George, for goodness’ sake. And here she is in Toronto, looking cute as a button, to promote her new film, “Married Life,” in which she plays the mistress in the late 40s, whose boyfriend is contemplating killing his wife to be with his girlfriend. More than anything though, I’m loving this look that Rachel has taken to the red carpet. She’s really working the brown hair–having had grown out of her pink hair phase–and this dress with its sliver of back showing, and the peep-toe shoes are just so cute to me. I also like the fact that she and co-star Patricia Clarkson seem to be into the whole red-sash thing. If there’s anything I like more than matching couples, it’s matching co-stars–as of this blog post.

Rachel just spent the weekend at my neighbors house, here on Sunset Beach. She is a good friend of my neighbors daughter. My neighbor said that “Rachel is a lovely girl”. Just really nice. Unassuming, not pretentious, good manners, just a really “nice girl”. My neighbor was quite impressed.
