There was a lot of celebrating for Rafael Nadal this past weekend.
Spain’s Rafael Nadal retained the top ranking in Monday’s ATP list, the day after claiming a sixth French Open crown to equal the Roland Garros record of Bjorn Borg.
Nadal beat Roger Federer (7-5 7-6 (7-3) 5-7 6-1) for the title after the Swiss had handed Djokovic a first 2011 defeat in the semifinals. Djokovic would have moved to the top had he made the final, or if Federer had won the decider.

On Friday (June 3), Rafael celebrated his birthday at Roland Garros in Paris, France.
