It appears that couple Randy and Evi Quaid are the Bonnie and Clyde of dining and dashing. The couple were arrested for reportedly bailing on a $10,000 hotel bill.

The couple was arrested Thursday afternoon in West Texas and spent several hours in the Marfa, Presidio County jail. According to the sheriff, Evi Quaid “resisted a little bit, it wasn’t too much. She calmed down quickly.”

TMZ reports that the Quaids wrote in a statement to them, “I promise the state of California, Texas does not bother people over hamburgers ordered by room service, supposedly burglarized.” Hamburger burglary? Hmm, does the Hamburglar have an alibi for the night in question?
