It’s still Fashion Week in Housewife land and Ramona brings Kelly to the Badgley Mischka show so they can trash-talk Bethenny and Simon amidst designer clothing. Kelly tells Ramona about the infamous charity meeting where she sparred with Bethenny and Ramona listens with wide-eyed intensity. Oh wait. Nevermind. That’s how she always looks. Ramona then asks Kelly’s expert advice on how she should deal with Simon. How old are these people? Later on her douchebag “tennis pro” husband Mario gets drunk at a Page Six magazine party and terrorizes everyone. Ramona is peeved Kelly didn’t give her a shout-out in her Page Six magazine fashion week article. She did go to FIT afterall. She was sketching dresses and ordering stock for Macy’s when Kelly was in diapers, she fumes. Later the two kiss and makeup and serenade each other with a chorus of “I like you!”
Jill‘s Upper East Side condo is almost done and she’s actually pleased with her gay husband Brad‘s interior design work. She has to break it to her real husband, Bobby, that they went over budget. Bobby shrugs. We have a feeling Bobby hides behind his glasses, doesn’t say much and signs the checks while pouring himself endless scotches. Later at the Page Six magazine party, Mario has one too many and gets all red in the face about Jill putting off an impending tennis match between he, Ramona, Jill and a player of her choice. How can you be too busy, he screams, all you do is shop and eat lunch. Bobby just stands there nursing his drink while Mario calls his wife a waste of space. Jill finally tells him to find someone else. Yeah, why doesn’t he? We think Mario just wants to see Jill in a tennis skirt or something.
Alex and Simon are also redesigning their Brooklyn apartment and have started consulting the experts. A lighting expert and interior decorator swing by. The lighting expert tells them there isn’t a chance on God’s green earth the place will be done in five weeks. Simon is most interested in getting separate lights to shine on all his paintings. Later at the Page Six party where everyone acted a fool, Mario and Ramona take a little stroll down memory lane and berate Alex and Simon for not giving them a “heads up” about Alex’s nude shots. Apparently last year they made a cameo at a Ramona house party and embarrassed the couple. Alex thinks it’s ludicrous they held on to animosity about stray pics of her titties. Supposedly Ramona has a Playboy model friend, and Simon thinks this is all hypocritical.
In this episode Kelly is unhealthfully obsessed with Bethenny. In every scene she runs her mouth to whoever will listen about the stupid charity meeting and how she and Bethenny will NEVER be friends. She’s just way too busy and mature for all of this. So what does Kelly do? Invite Bethenny to a bar so they can discuss their dislike for on another. Overall, Bethenny doesn’t say much and Kelly babbles a string of insults. She’s much too busy for all this, remember, but needs Bethenny to know how her malarkey is embarrassing and they aren’t friends, and she’s much, much better than Bethenny and so and so forth. Kelly has to be drunk. Or high. Or on too many Red Bulls or something. She gets up in a huff, lurks in a corner and then lunges at Bethenny with more crazy as she tries to leave. Kelly then meets up with some weird guy named Max for a “date” and talks about Bethenny some more. Kelly later tells the camera how the entire incident was just so “sophomoric” and “high school.” She is way too high class for all of this, remember.
Bethenny shows up on time to meet with Kelly, who keeps her waiting a half hour. Bethenny admits to the camera later on that she was a bitch, and had Kelly called her out like a normal human being, she probably would’ve tucked her tail between her legs and apologized. Lucky for her, Kelly’s loco. So Bethenny gets to be a bitch and walk away looking like the good guy. Bethenny meets up with Ramona to watch Mario play tennis. We’re forced to here it all again and Ramona is dumbfounded. Who to believe? She finally decides that some people just are not meant to like each other. Case closed.
LuAnn and Kelly ride together to the Page Six magazine party. This is going to shock you, but Kelly brings up the whole Bethenny incident. The Emily Post of our generation confides to the camera she thinks a meeting was a touch tacky. The fact Kelly kept Bethenny waiting was even worse. You can tell the Countess is writing a new chapter for Class With The Countess part 2 as Kelly speaks. Thankfully they have to go to exit the car so the conversation ends. The countess even looks a bit bashful walking next to Kelly, who’s practically in her underwear.
