Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth took her kids, Ava and Deacon Phillippe out for ice cream on this hot Los Angeles day.  Deacon looked like a downtown hipster in his fedora and vest, while Ava showed the first signs of a budding stylebot (watch out Lourdes).  How cute is that outfit she’s wearing?  Ava took a yellow dress and funked it up with boots, white tights and pearls.

Witherspoon told the new issue of Marie Claire that she feels “blessed” to have met Toth after going through a tough divorce from Ryan Phillippe.  “I was hard on myself when I got divorced. And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realized how stressed I was,” Witherspoon told the mag.  “I feel so much relief. I don’t think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody.”
