Reese Witherspoon, who is usually kind of a Debbie Downer, actually lightened the hell up in San Paulo, Brazil. She’s there to talk about female empowerment and domestic violence. So is that the key? She feels better in the bosom of women? I say go for it, Wither! Make like Lindsay and break out the dental dam!
“There isn’t a woman in the world that doesn’t have a friend or a
partner who’s actually experiencing some sort of violence against them,
so I think although domestic violence hasn’t happened to me personally,
I certainly know women who are dealing with this struggle every day,”
she said at a media conference.
That’s a good cause, and you experience your own abuse when you had to watch Ryan Phillippe’s gorgeous ass trot out the door. So we’re with you on that. And yeah, drop the beard and get with a lady friend. Maybe that’s what’s been getting you down and constantly making you look like you have irritable bowel syndrome.

I think she’s adorable. I don’t like her butch bob haircut but she’s still cute. I think she looks pretty good for a former hottie who was cheated on by her adulterous ex-husband. LOVED her in Legally Blonde! And she got famous by being a good actress. JG is hot, too!

Ryan Phillipe isn’t that great. He seems like a brooding, depression case. Plus, he’s a cheater. Who wants that?
As for Reese, if you haven’t seen Election, Freeway (the first one), or Walk the Line, you have no idea what a great actor she is. Watch her in something other than Sweet Home Alabama and then comment.

Reese Witherspoon is awesome, and Ryan Phillipe is the one who is losing out. Jake is hot, and seems to be decent and to love her, so good for Reese. She deserves it after dealing with a husband who cheated on her with no regard for his family, especially his kids. Not surprisingly Ryan Phillipe and Abbie Cornish aren’t getting the same treatment as Sienna Miller, which is unfortunate. Reese is using her celebrity status (which is well deserved, by the way) for a good cause. I like her even more for this.

I admire Reese for kicking that grumpy faced cheater ex of hers to the curb, and not just staying with him because she had nothing else to do – like so many pathetic women out there. I’ll give her that!
