“Reign Over Me” Red Carpet

Jada Pinkett Smith can be a little too hot-blooded to handle. While promoting her new film “Reign Over Me,” Pinkett Smith took the time to share her thoughts on feminine energy.

“Feminine energy, even at its most subtle, can be overwhelming. So you start to understand why very extroverted feminine energy can be offensive and misunderstood,” she says.

“At the same time, you have to be who you are. You can’t conform to the pleasures of others, so you have to surround yourself with people who can handle that strength.”

People such as Smith, who Pinkett Smith describes as a human dynamo.

“He couldn’t be the megastar – mega man – that he is without being incredibly powerful,” says his wife of 10 years.

“You can understand why he would need a woman of intense power to be by his side.”

More photos from the premiere of “Reign Over Me” are after the jump.

It all sounds like a demented, scientology-based spiel, but as far as I know the Pinkett-Smith’s haven’t been brainwashed yet. Or have they?

Jada Pinkett Smith is not a scientologist.

She is, however, a feminist with a rock band that’s all about women’s power. And not in the male-bashing way that’s stereotypical of feminists.
