These days, we’re not sure what Rihanna‘s calling card is. Her signature ranges from a plethora of hair color changes and styles, as seen here on her way to the tattoo salon East Side Ink, or outrageous outfits/wardrobe changes, to sexy performance scandals and perfume controversy. But remember the good ole days, at the start of her career, when she identified herself as the sensual Barbadian we’d chill on the beach listening to?

Seems like Rihanna missed it a bit herself and in an ode to her old life, she’s accepted a new job as Barbados’ Tourism Ambassador.
“Barbados is a place like no other and one of the reasons for this is the spirit and national pride of our people,” Rihanna said in a press statement (via PopEater). “I want each and every visitor to this beautiful island to experience what makes this destination different from all others and that is the spirit and warmth of my fellow Barbadians.”
The exclusive partnership will last for three years and will begin on August 5 when her Loud tour comes to Bridgetown, Barbados. Now watch the fans flock to Barbardos to dance until the moon becomes a sun… [name that tune?]
