Rihanna Causes Tattoo Scandal

July 3rd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

Tattoo enthusiast Rihanna has sparked a police investigation at the high-end NYC tattoo parlor where she regularly gets inked. The pop star reportedly visited the parlor last ight and after some conversation with her favorite tattoo artist, known as Bang Bang, some of the staff agreed to allow Ri-Ri to give them some new tats.

Co-owner of East Side Ink, Yadira told OK! magazine that after some chatting, Bang Bang requested some ink from the singer. He quickly drew a design incorporating an umbrella and the letter “R” for the pop star to etch onto him permanently. Two other artists then followed suit.

Yadira says, “We were all talking a laughing the whole time. Joking that she was a pro now… She was so sweet, easy-going, down to earth.” Oh, you know what would be hot? If David Beckham would let her give him some new ink. Someone make sure to photograph that. With a giant rope somewhere in there.
