Rihanna Ventures Into ‘Disturbia’ At The VMAs

September 7th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

In keeping with her goth-punk 80s kickback theme, Rihanna showed up on the red carpet with her short hair flaring and her favorite item of clothing–a bustier.

Her performance of her eerie single
“Disturbia” had her arriving to the stage looking like she was wearing
a giant cement skirt. I know it sounds confusing, but you had to see it
to get what I’m talking about.

Rihanna was backed by what looked like a troupe of raving zombies with
glow sticks. Good luck finding brains that aren’t riddled with
ecstasy-induced holes, guys.

Her outfit for the performance wasn’t quite as cute to me as the one
she had on the red carpet. She always takes the S&M thing just a
bit too far, and why did it look like she had some toilet paper stuck
to her ass? I prefer this sparkly ensemble. In fact, I want to wear that to work tomorrow.
