Man, your ex can really come back to haunt you. Matt Kemp, Rihanna‘s new beau, has some ‘splainin to do.  In June of 2008 Kemp’s girlfriend at the time, Felisha Terrell, accused him of stalking and intimidation when she filed a restraining order against him. However, by August 2008 she filed a motion to vacate the restraining order. 

Dave Stewart, Kemp’s agent, explains  “She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false.” Damn, that’s dirty.  Hating on an ex is one thing, but making up stuff and bringing the law into it is serious. Although maybe it was more of a misunderstanding since a source told E! News that Kemp drove by Terrell’s apartment a few times because he didn’t want to go in and get his stuff back when she was there.

Based on the obvious concern over Rihanna dating someone with a restraining order, Stewart adds “Matt Kemp is a consummate Midwestern gentleman who has never displayed any act of violence towards a woman.”
