Robert Downey Jr. Vampires. Sexy time. Bloody Disgusting has confirmed that Robert is in talks to take over the role of Lestat in the reboot of Anne Rice‘s The Vampire Chronicles. Everyone just needs a piece of the immortal these days, don’t they?
Lestat, a nobleman turned vampire from the late 18th century, has been played twice on screen. The first in Interview With The Vampire by Tom Cruise and the second in Queen Of The Damned by Stuart Townsend. He is supposed to be a 20-year-old vampire with long blonde hair, so I don’t know how RDJ is gonna pull that off.
But honestly, who cares? He is so hot that he can make anything work. Robert is like some sort of god. He’s super amazing as Iron Man, he is going to be so fabulous and original as Sherlock Holmes, and now he may play a vampire?
It seems that if you want anything rebooted or to make something super huge, you turn to Robert. I hope his son Indio starts acting soon. How hot is that kid? I feel like such a creeper. Is anyone else out there feeling the creeper status? Please, tell me I’m not alone!

Indio seems to have inherited his Dad’s good looks, the scuttlebut I hear is that Indio is more of a musician, plays guitar and has been known to do a bit of songwriting. He has already tried his hand at acting in “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” Indio played a younger version of his Dad’s character Harry Lockhart. Indio must have been 8 or 10 at the time.
