British actor Robert Pattinson plays surrealist painter Salvador Dalà in the 2009 drama Little Ashes. Set in 1920s Spain, the film focuses on poet Federico GarcÃa Lorca (Javier Beltrán) and the intense bond he forms with Dalà while attending art school in Madrid.

Pattinson is wonderful in Little Ashes (saw a very early screening in London) as are the rest of the cast. They are all so well cast. I was a bit of a fan before I saw the film but after seeing him perform as Salvador Dali I’m hooked. He’s going to be a Hollywood Superstar.
I too saw Little Ashes in London and Rob and Javier were fantastic. I loved the film and it stays in your mind long after seeing it. Rob’s heartbreaking at the end of the film.

Robert pattinson was hypnotising. he has a fan in me for being able to portray this beautiful, amazing, eccentric, outstanding man.
