The votes are in and Robert Pattinson has successfully beat out fellow sexy stars Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Zac Efron to snag Heat magazine’s title of Sexiest Man Alive.
According to the magazine’s editor, Julian Linley, RPattz “is obviously very easy on the eye, but a lot of his popularity has to be down to the character Edward he plays in Twilight–strong, brooding and tortured, basically most women’s fantasy boyfriend.”
And not only is he sexy, but he’s clearly hard-working as you can see here during production of his current film Remember Me (75 more photos from yesterday’s filming are here), co-starring Emilie de Ravin. We love that he keeps getting number one at the top of these pretty people lists, but we were already convinced of his appeal beforehand.

Seriously, how rude can people be? Being starstruck is one thing, being obsessed is another, but stalking to the point of ruining a movie set is just plain insane. Why do people think this is acceptable behavior? I feel sorry for Robert Pattinson, he obviously detests this sort of behavior. He also received this extra attention in an overnight success, can you imagine the culture shock he’s being subjected to? He’s a person just like everyone else, he is not a toy or an object. I hope people start to realize that.
