Robert Pattinson Talks Fame & Gus Van Sant For ‘Breaking Dawn’

November 11th, 2009 // 2 Comments

It doesn’t take a whole of effort for Robert Pattinson to look tortured since he’s made it clear that fame is something he struggles with on a daily basis. The actor admits that he would consider giving up acting if he finds that he’s unable to live his life.

The Twilight star tells OK! magazine, “If I’m still stuck in a hotel room in 10 years time and I haven’t figured out another way to deal with it, then I would be annoyed.” Of his fame, he adds, “I just want to see what it’s really like in two to three years.”

However, he hasn’t given up acting just yet and has expressed excitement about filming Breaking Dawn and has a particular director in mind for the task. Rob says, “I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it.”

Of course, Chris Weitz is probably sitting off to the side saying, “HELLO, I’m right here.”

Rob Pattinson comes across as okay. I’m sure he is a decent human being. I just wish he would keep his smoking habit away from the camera. The nicest thing you can say about cigarettes is that kissing someone who smokes is like licking garbage. And Mr. Celebrity du Jour is making it look so attractive to screaming 10 year-olds.

I’d guess that Rob Pattinson is a photographer’s dream – fabulously handsome. And I’m sure he is a decent human being. I just wish he would keep his smoking habit away from the camera. The nicest thing you can say about cigarettes is that kissing someone who smokes is like licking garbage. And Mr. Celebrity du Jour is making it look so attractive to screaming 10 year-olds.
