Alright, settle down and let’s get into this (that’s what he said – absolutely necessary).

I have to hand it to Details for causing one hell of a marketing stir, first by making Robert Pattinson look pimptatsic in his spread where he lounges with naked models and then for releasing a quote where Pattinson said he is allergic to vadge. This is the quote from the magazine:

“I really hate vaginas. I’m allergic to vagina. But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours. But I wasn’t exactly prepared. I had no idea what to say to these girls. Thank God I was hungover.”

Good god, this quote is all over the place, he still sounds hungover.  For all of you that are upset that he will never be interested in your lady taco and those of you who are excited that he may be into your snow cannon, take a couple of breaths and chill out. The guy is English.  They have weird humor. Pattinson addressed the heavily blogged about quote on The View today.

“I learned two things from that interview. Never try to make a joke during a print interview and never do interviews, ever.” See, sarcasm.

Although he makes the joke a second time saying. “I do have an actual allergy. It’s terrible. It’s a curse.” Rob…you got stop. They change the conversation as he begins to dig that second hole and the topic eventually turns to the possibility of Pattinson dating an older women.

“I think Betty White is one of the sexiest women in America,” he said. Stand in line, buddy.

Here’s Pattinson with Emile de Ravin doing press for Remember Me in New York, and no signs of allergic reaction.

PS – there is also an old joke that some people think he’s referring to:

“Dr. I’m allergic to vaginas! Every time I get near one, I swell up and start to rub myself.”
