The time commitment required to film the next two Twilight sequels back-to-back has meant that Robert Pattinson has had to drop out of starring in the independent feature Parts Per Billion.
His agent told MTV that his client had to back out on the film because “the prep time and production schedule on New Moon” have RPattz too busy being a vampire for the first quarter of this year to do anything else.
It has yet to announce who will be replacing Pattinson for the role in the film, which is being produced by and will also star Rosario Dawson. Might we suggest Taylor Lautner? He might be free.
KIDDING! Don’t murder me, fellow Twilight fans. I’m just trying to laugh through my tears.

They’re probably going to be finished with the last of the four movies by the close of 2010 if not released all of them. Why? Because Twilight is a tween trend which unless you keep the momentum up they don’t last long until you’ve moved onto the next fad. I still expect to see numbers begin to start to drop by the time Eclipse is released.

That’s got to suck. It would be great to work with Rosario Dawson because she’s a great actress. Sounds like an interesting movie too. Twilight kind of sucked in my opinion.

Brilliant move for Robert to not do this movie. Too many stars burn themselves out trying to ride the roller coaster of fame. I would rather wait to see him in other films than to read a tragic story about him being hospitalized due to exhaustion. Stars do stupid things to keep up their energy level. So kudos to Rob for trying to live a “normal life”. Very smart.

Pattinson’s role in Twilight is a typecast trap. His acting skill doesn’t help much, either (same stone cold face copied and pasted in every cameo). Serious filmmakers avoid such actors like plagues. Adding to the fact that career of a tween heartthrob die young (natural law of Hollywood), I hope Pattinson locks his cash into some fix-income securities. Plan for other professions.

Robert Pattinson was contractually obligated to do New Moon before he signed to do PPB and would not have been able to work both movies so closely together. Too bad, I know all of his fans want to get as much Rob as they can. At least we will see him in “Little Ashes” and “How To Be” early this year ;) Rob is an extremely talented actor and musician, along with being the sexiest man alive…it’s no wonder everyone wants more!!!

I think that he should totally try to be in new moon after he did an amazing job in twilight!!!
