Robert Pattinson arrived at the premiere of Remember Me in the UK yesterday and spent time meeting his fans. In an interview on the red carpet you really get an idea of how loud those screaming fans are at Lancaster Square. Check out the video after the jump.

He tells the reporter that he hopes his fans realize his new film is not Twilight when they go to see it and that it doesn’t push the same buttons.

“I hope people don’t go into it thinking, ‘I am going to watch a really happy romantic drama,’ because it is not really.” The reporter jokes that he’s not selling his movie and he laughs that he’s no good at that kind of thing, but adds “It’s really great, it’s really different and it doesn’t really fit into a genre, so hopefully people will like it.”

The self-deprecating Pattinson, who worked with the James Bond star Pierce Brosnan in the film, also laughs at the thought of playing 007. He wold love to, but “I’m not very good at running,” he jokes. He considers he would do it in a couple years and then laughs “what am I talking about? I don’t know, I’d love to.”

By the end of the night Pattinson looks like he was tired of photographers as left the Ivy Club where he was hanging out with friends and family after the Premiere from 8:30pm to 1:00 am. He pulled on a beenie and made the way to a car with some help. He sits in the car looking pretty tired before it pulls away.
