“Divide and conquer” has been the theme for how The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been taking on the talk show circuit to promote the film’s premiere in Los Angeles.

Kristen has been making the rounds, as well as Taylor Lautner and now Rob is up to bat. The star made his way to chat with Regis Phibin and Kelly Ripa on their morning talk show, where he did a great job making the Twilight moms in the audience swoon.

When Rob visited Ellen DeGeneres on her show, the 23-year-old confessed that as a joke, he once suggested to a female fan that she “take [her] clothes off” to get his attention. This took place at a signing, where RPattz had just finished penning 500 signatures.

As he tells Ellen, “She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security. I never felt more terrible…I sound like I’m actually just abusing my position.” It’s OK, Rob, I can guarantee she I…er, SHE was totally into it.
