Tiny fashion lover and essayist Mary-Kate Olsen was in the front row at the Rock and Republic show at Fashion Week in New York. The media and fashion mogul had a very discerning look on her face as the models walked past on the runway. I’m thinking she probably felt they weren’t wearing nearly enough giant layers of clothing.

Gossip Girl gals Chace Crawford and Jessica Szohr showed up to the event. Are these two trying to look like they’re together? That’s an interesting turn of events. Gossip Girl TV dad Matthew Settle was there too with his wifey.

Of note on the catwalk: the super-tight jeans worn by the models are called “The Skinny Bitch.” OK, that might be dated news, but keep in mind that I tend to be behind on these things. My pants tend to have the words “comfort” and “stretch” in the name and I’ve been known to sneak in a maternity top here and there by accident…sort of.
