Keeping to her porcelain perfection, Rooney Mara just barely managed to up turn her red lips in a form of a smile on tonight’s 84th annual Academy Awards.
Wearing a pure white Givenchy couture gown, the evolving red carpet muse is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The film itself is up for a total of five awards tonight and maybe one day the cast will smile about that.
The dress, however, is questionable as to whether it will fall on the love or hate list. While the bodice itself and the gentle flow of the skirt have eye-catching appeal, the neckline is something to be questioned. At first it appears to blend into her already pale skin tone, but in closer examination… it really does nothing for her shape and I don’t get the horizontal lapels?
I guess not everyone can be blessed with ample red carpet cleavage.
