Roseanne, possibly sensing an opportunity to achieve some relevancy once more, is all for taking over for Rosie O’Donnell on “The View” . I’m still pushing for Courtney Love, but no one ever listens to me.

“I would love the chance to do that,” Barr told KVVU-TV in Las Vegas on Monday. “I’d love it. Yeah, definitely. I think I would do a real good job.”

Barr, who is known for being outspoken, says she’d “stir up some real good controversy,” which O’Donnell has often done during her year-long stint on The View

Barr’s name has been mentioned online and in the New York Post as a possible replacement for O’Donnell, who announced last week that she is leaving at the end of this season. However, Barr stresses that she has not been approached by the show’s producers.

Still, to those who have suggested her for the job, Barr appreciates the thought. “I just want to say thank you to them for thinking of me.”

Joy Behar is already re-gnashing her teeth. I say toss her ass, get Courtney and Roseanne in there and make a big bowl of popcorn and watch the show as they terrify Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Can you imagine Elisabeth talking about her pregnancy, and Court chiming in with how she did the H-bomb while she was knocked up with Francis Bean? Genius.
