Rosie O’Donnell recently emailed CBS’ “The ShowBuzz” in poem form, explaining how she has picked up crafting as a way to express the frustrations she feels as a result of her on-air spat on “The View” with Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
sometimes
when the words become too incendiary
as they come from mei look to images
what i feel
part here
there
this that
sewn together
taped
stapledsomething out of nothing
scraps
what is already done
becomes somehow new
and old
at oncea memory
There are a number of things that I love about this situation:
1) She’s answering emails in poem form, which I imagine makes her correspondence look like a really long quote included in her signature block.
2) She’s crafting. I have a feeling there’s an angry patchwork quilt with baby doll heads sewn to it with Elisabeth’s name on it. Well, it’s not so much that I have a feeling as much as that I’m trying to will it so.

And she ended the poem by saying:
I’m fat
Won’t someone please
love me?
Ride Lo
I can’t believe a “professional” would respond to a corporate message or write to a company with a POEM. Good gawd.
Here’s one I suspect she’ll write in the future.
“called the troops
terrorists
now career
is over
america hates
rosie
should not have been
a huge bitch
and made
elizabeth defend
ridiculous thoughts”
I used to think Rosie was pretty funny when she did stand-up. Once she got her own talk show, she became too full of herself and came off (to me) as just another power-hungry performer. She is an opinionated woman, which is fine, many of us are; her trouble starts when she intentionally bullies people with her beliefs; beliefs that she frequently can’t back up with sense, which is where she loses me. Lately, she just comes off as a bully and an immature one at that. She may have increased the ratings for The View, but I think she has disappointed a large portion of her View supporters with her juvenile rants during the show. She just looked stupid…
Oh, that is going to be one rage filled macaroni necklace.
This chick is insane. Insane and ugly. what a bad combo.
